7:30 Call To Order: Mr. Dale Wolfe
Motion to excuse Paul Blackford, Jerry Shawber, Julie Bell, Mo Ressallot, Karen Scott, Joan Dilley, Roger Moore, and Carl Watt made by Ms. Jo Swain. 2nd by Mr. Dean White. Motion Passed.
Motion to accept the Secretary’s Report made by Mr. Vern Henderson. 2nd by Mr. John Barker. Motion Passed
Motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report made by Mr. Dean White. 2nd by Mr. Wayne Leuthold. Motion Passed.
OLD BUSINESS
2009 campaigns: Norma Hill is running for ward member of Bucyrus City Council. The campaign is going well and she reports having fun while doing it.
The Annual Picnic is June 15th at Auhmiller Park at 5pm—dinner at 6. Potluck with drinks furnished.
Pork Chop BBQ is at the conservation league this year September 12 from 5-7pm with the auction beginning at 6. Gary Cole is in charge of central committee portion of the event.

NEW BUSINESS
Crawford County Fair is July 18-25. The cost of the booth is $250. Motion made to pay for the fair booth made by Ms. Jo Swain. 2nd by Mr. Dennis Easterday. Motion Passed.
Motion made to budget for up to $150 for general fair expenditures. Motion made by Ms. Jo Swain. 2nd by Mr. Dean White. Motion Passed.
Brian Osborne is trying to start a ‘Harding Area Young Republicans’ Organization. This would include any young (ages 18-40) republicans from the Wyandot, Crawford, Marion, and Morrow county areas. He is having a kick-off and wants everyone to come on May 27th at 6:30pm at the Marion GOP HQ. 114 South Main Street, Downtown Marion.
The Group discussed helping to fund this new organization once they had a PAC organized.
EXECUTIVE REPORT
Matt Crall—leadingohio.com The State party plans to restore credibility, broaden policy build upon their base and re-emerge the middle class. Also, they have ‘advanced voter contact’ to cut down on the annoyance factor for those who vote early.
There is a push to try to find more, and younger, candidates for office.
