7:40 pm: Call to Order—Mr. Dale Wolfe
Motion to excuse Paul Blackford, Carl Watt, Roger Moore, Sharon C, Jo Swain, and Julie Bell made by Mr. Mo Ressalot. 2nd by Mr. Dean White. Motion Passed.
Pledge of Allegiance led by Mr. Mike Bear
Motion to approve Secretary’s Report made by Mr. Dean White. 2nd by Mr. Denny Easterday. Motion Passed.
Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report made by Mr. Vern Henderson. 2nd by Mr. Mo Ressalot.
OLD BUSINESS:
The policy committee has met and is going to meet once more before sending forth recommendations to the Central Committee.
Portman was in town the event went well.
Absentee Ballots have begun for City, School Board, Trustee, and Issue elections.
Steve Reinhart—Kasich campaign is raising funds in and out of state. They feel they are on target right now.
Also, Steve is in favor of Issue 2—It will create a livestock board that sets the standards in Ohio rather than having referendums from out of state interlopers.
Pork Chop BBQ—The money is in and thanks to all who worked the event
Web Site---54 visits this past month from 41 different visitors and 61% were new to the website.
Century Club—Tentative date of November 16th at the Palmer House. 6:30 pm. Currently, Mary Taylor is the tentative speaker.
Jay Scott has cited that Holmes Township-North is no longer a standing precinct and is no longer seeking to fill the position.
